AFFECTING POLICY IN THE STATE LEGISLATURE REQUIRES DEEP UNDERSTANDING of not only the policy and process, but also the political intelligence and deep relationships with policy-makers. Our political lobbyists’ proficiency at raising money to support candidates and the political parties is inseparable from our success achieving our clients’ policy goals. Many of the members of the firm have extensive political experience including leadership roles in campaigns, either as staff, advisors, or fundraisers.

Justin Day in our Tampa Bay office has worked in senior finance roles on various political campaigns in Florida including; U.S. Senate, Governor, Attorney General, and various local campaigns. Justin has raised over $13 million dollars for local, state, and federal candidates. He is active in national Democratic politics serving on Secretary Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama’s National Finance Committee, and as the Tampa Bay Regional Finance Chairman for President Obama’s re-election campaign. In addition, he was a National Co-Chair for the Democratic National Committee’s Gen44 program. Currently, Justin is the Deputy Treasurer for the Democratic Governors Association. 

Several members also take on ad hoc roles in different campaigns. For example, Nick Iarossi has served several gubernatorial campaigns and has been selected to serve on the inaugural committees of Governors Charlie Crist, Rick Scott, and as Finance Chair for Ron DeSantis. Ron LaFace has played an integral role in the Ashley Moody for Attorney General Campaign, serving on her Finance and Inaugural Committees.
