Ron LaFace Jr. is a government affairs strategist and lobbyist with extensive experience advising clients on legislative, executive branch, and regulatory matters throughout the State of Florida.

He is a co-founder and owner of Capital City Consulting LLC, one of Florida’s leading government affairs and lobbying firms. Ron represents clients across a wide range of industries, advancing policy priorities, securing appropriations, and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Ron previously served on staff at the Florida Department of Education and was appointed and confirmed by the Florida Senate to the Postsecondary Education Planning Commission. There he contributed to statewide higher education policy and planning.

Throughout his career, Ron has earned recognition for both his effectiveness and professionalism. He has been named Healthcare Lobbyist of the Year and was voted “Best Lobbyist” by his peers. He has also been recognized in the City & State Florida Power 100, highlighting his influence within Florida’s public policy landscape.

Ron earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where he served as President of Florida Blue Key. He holds a Juris Doctor from Florida State University.
