Nick Iarossi is a government affairs expert, public policy strategist, and lobbyist with nearly three decades of experience advising clients on legislative, executive branch, and regulatory matters at the local, state, and federal levels.
He is a co-founder and owner of Capital City Consulting LLC, one of Florida’s leading government affairs and lobbying firms. Under his leadership the firm has represented hundreds of clients across industries including financial services, insurance, gaming, education, technology, environmental policy, retail, and procurement, advancing major legislative initiatives and securing significant appropriations.
In addition to his state and local work, Nick also serves as Managing Director at BGR Group, a leading bipartisan government relations and public affairs firm based in Washington, D.C. In this role, Nick manages public affairs advocacy public affairs advocacy campaigns and helps clients navigate complex political and policy issues across all levels of government.
Nick previously served on staff for the Florida House of Representatives, Florida Senate, and Florida Department of Insurance. In addition to his policy work, he has held leadership roles in state and national political campaigns, including finance and inaugural positions for presidential and gubernatorial efforts.
He has been widely recognized for his influence and effectiveness, including being named one of Influence Magazine’s “Top 100 Most Influential People in Florida,” listed in the News Service of Florida Power 100, and ranked the #1 lobbyist in Florida by The Florida Standard.
Nick earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from Florida State University, where he served as Student Body President, and holds a Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.
