Jared Rosenstein is a Partner at Capital City Consulting and a government affairs strategist specializing in emergency management, disaster recovery, and complex regulatory policy.
He began his career in the Florida Senate and later served in the Florida House of Representatives, where he worked on policy issues including gaming, animal welfare, and disaster response. During the 2018 legislative session, he contributed to the development of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School Safety Act.
Jared later served as Legislative Affairs Director at the Florida Division of Emergency Management under Governor Ron DeSantis and Director Jared Moskowitz. In that role, he led the agency’s legislative strategy and served as a primary liaison to federal, state, and local officials, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At Capital City Consulting, Jared represents clients across a broad range of industries, with a focus on emergency management, municipal issues, and state appropriations. He is frequently called upon to advise policymakers and stakeholders on disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.
Jared holds a degree from Florida State University and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
