Felipe Angulo is a government affairs and public policy strategist specializing in local government, economic development, and complex regulatory matters in Miami-Dade County.
He began his career in public service in the Office of Mayor Carlos Giménez, where he gained experience in government operations, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. He was later appointed to the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee, where he rose to Director of Community Outreach and Business Connect, leading government affairs and minority business initiatives for one of the world’s largest sporting events.
Following his public sector work, Felipe transitioned to government relations and public affairs, advising clients on local policy, development, and political strategy. He has played a key role in public-private partnerships, referendums, and initiatives to attract major global events to South Florida, including securing $42 million in public funding for the FIFA World Cup 2026. His work also includes initiatives involving Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, the Miami Dolphins, E1 Boat Racing, and the College Football National Championship.
Felipe advises clients on land use, zoning, permitting, and environmental approvals, with a focus on navigating complex entitlement processes and inter-agency coordination at the local level.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Economic Development Subcommittee of the Miami-Dade County Millennial Board and is active in civic and philanthropic efforts, including leadership roles with the WOW Center, Florida International University President’s Council, United Way Young Leaders, and Special Olympics Florida.
