COVID-19 Response Assistance
During 2021-22, the Covid pandemic changed the way government utilized the private sector to deploy resources. Billions of dollars were spent by Florida to assist in Covid response. CCC played a critical role representing multiple emergency response companies to secure over a billion dollars in state contracts to provide services such as Covid testing and site logistics, staffing, vaccination sites, monoclonal antibody sites, nursing home vaccination missions, and public assistance auditing and monitoring of state and federal funds used for Covid response. No other firm in the state played a more critical role in helping companies navigate the executive branch to provide critical services to citizens.
Facilitated Storm Debris Removal
Successfully lobbied for local government contracts in Leon and Jackson Counties for storm debris removal services for our client, Ceres Environmental.
Pandemic Vaccine Accessibility
During the 2022 legislative session, Capital City Consulting successfully worked on behalf of CVS Health to allow pharmacy technicians to continue to administer critical vaccines to patients after the end of the COVID-19 emergency declaration. During the pandemic, pharmacies proved to be a critical access point for vaccinations and patient care, and by making this practice permanent in Florida law, we were able to ensure that Floridians, particularly in rural and underserved areas, continued to have access to high quality health care.
