Important Update from CCC

Today, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that Florida will move in full Phase 2, effective Friday. The updated Executive Order is here and a presentation outlining Florida’s recovery and this transition is here. 

Notable changes from Phase 1 to Phase 2 include the reopening of bars at 50% capacity; the ability for retail establishments and gyms to operate at full capacity, with distancing and sanitation protocols; and the reopening of entertainment venues, subject to a 50% capacity limitation.

The tri-county area (Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach) remains in Phase 1 until a specific county request is made, and state approval is received, to move to Phase 2.
