Florida, like many other states, proposed legislation to regulate the use of artificial intelligence and companion chatbots. CCC’s lobbyists worked with the Legislature to protect our technology clients’ interests by incorporating new language into the proposed Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bill of Rights allowing school districts to utilize AI-assisted tools at both the district and classroom levels, while appropriately balancing student privacy and parents’ rights.
