Dave Aronberg is a Partner at Capital City Consulting. He is government affairs and legal strategist with extensive experience in law enforcement, criminal prosecution, and public policy.

Dave served three terms as the elected State Attorney for Palm Beach County from 2012 to 2024, leading a team of 115 prosecutors and 180 professional staff across five offices. Prior to that role, he served as an Assistant Attorney General and, in 2010, as Special Prosecutor for Prescription Drug Trafficking in the Florida Attorney General’s Office, where he led anti-pill mill initiatives that helped reduce oxycodone abuse and reform Florida’s pain clinic industry.

Earlier in his career, Dave served in the Florida Senate and was selected as a White House Fellows program participant, serving as Special Assistant to the U.S. Treasury Secretary under two presidential administrations. In that role, he worked on international money laundering and terrorist financing matters.

After graduating with honors from Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Dave practiced at a South Florida law firm and worked with then-Insurance Commissioner Bill Nelson on investigations involving unpaid World War II-era insurance policies sold to Holocaust victims.
