Tim Gomez is a Partner at Capital City Consulting, specializing in appropriations, economic development, and local government operations.
He began his career in Tallahassee, translating his studies at Florida State University into a role with a lobbying firm before joining the Florida House of Representatives. There, he worked with the Appropriations Committee on transportation and economic development budget issues.
Tim later moved to Miami, where he served with the Board of County Commissioners in the Offices of Legislative Analysis and Commission Auditor, focusing on transportation, infrastructure, and major development projects. He was subsequently recruited to the Mayor’s Office as a policy advisor and legislative analyst.
In addition to his government experience, Tim has advised political campaigns at the local and state level for more than two decades. Given his political insight and instincts, Tim has also been asked to do campaign work at both the local and state level for the past two decades. At CCC Miami, Tim provides government consulting and lobbying to some of the biggest companies and events in Florida, such as the Miami Dolphins, the Miami International Boat Show, the Orange Bowl, the College Football Playoff Series and National Championship Game, and Formula 1.
